CardStax is a personal loyalty‑card wallet for iPhone and iPad. This policy
explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
CardStax does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
Everything you add to the app stays on your device.
What information the app handles
- Your cards. The names, colours, code values (barcode/QR numbers), and
categories you add are stored locally on your device using Apple's on‑device
database. They are shared with the CardStax widget through a private, on‑device
app group. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
- Camera. When you scan a card, the camera is used only to read the
barcode or QR code, and the image is processed on your device in real time.
Photos are not saved and nothing from the camera is transmitted anywhere.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts, no sign‑in.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third‑party SDKs.
- No data leaves your device.
- No data is sold or shared.
Data storage and deletion
Your data lives only on your device. Deleting the CardStax app removes all of
its data. There is no server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Children's privacy
CardStax does not collect any data from anyone, including children.
